Happy 3rd Birthday Caitlin!!

I think I asked Caitlin 100 times what kind of party she wanted for her birthday. Not because I wanted to convince her of something else, but because I was sure as soon as I bought items, she would change her mind.

In the end, she was pretty set on Sofia the First. And a bounce house. After attending Aly's party, Caitlin decided she needed a bounce house. Thankfully, after a day of heavy rain that Friday, Saturday came with clear & sunny skies and we were able to deliver her bounce house wish.

The birthday girl had so much fun celebrating with her friends!

When it came time for cupcakes, all of the kids were hot & sweaty & ready for a break.

April Phone Photos

April brought in the start of baseball season.

And the chance to celebrate Rachel's birthday. I asked Cooper to get a bag for her gift and he took it upon himself to write a birthday message.

Jason was out of town and after an afternoon of outlet mall shopping (my own person circle of misery), I treated the kids to dinner and sandbox time.

Cooper's school carnival was an afternoon of fun & time to see friends. Caitlin loved the big slide! And getting her face painted.

Cooper had a blast pretending to be an American Ninja Warrior.

We helped Aly celebrate her birthday, where all of the girls had a blast playing dress up.

Caitlin was also invited to a party for a school friend that included dress up time and dancing.

Nana & Aunt Carla took the kids to Disney on Ice. Cooper said he thought it would be more fun & Caitlin fell asleep halfway through and ended up peeing on Nana. So, I guess they had fun.

We rounded out April by celebrating Caitlin's birthday. The girls played dress up again and my little one ended up wearing a Batman costume.

Indians Baseball

This year, we made the decision for Cooper to play Little League baseball instead of YMCA. He was drafted to the Indians team, which made Jason and I laugh a bit over some Major League jokes.

Each season at this park starts with an Opening Day Parade. The teams run onto the field and each member is introduced. The kids took it as a race to see who could run fastest.

We went right in to our first game of the season that ended with a win!

The rain in Houston created a bit of a rough start to the season. After just a few games at Bear Creek, Houston was hit with a terrible flood that caused the fields to sit under water for over 6 weeks. Thankfully, we were able to continue our season at alternate fields around Houston. We were also fortunate that a fellow team dad took some fantastic photos of the team. We love some of the action shots he was able to capture!
