January Phone Photos

So, I'm not sure what happened to the first month and a half of this year, but it is gone.

January flew by. We were both busy with work, we traveled a bit and I feel like Caitlin was probably sick a time or two. Because, that seems to happen often these days.

We spent NYE with friends and Cooper actually went outside to see the fireworks. He wasn't completely on board, but when faced with the option of going outside or staying in alone, he decided to come with me. As a result, he was knocked out shortly after we got in the car to head home.

Nana sent the kids money in the mail & we decided to use it for a donut run.

Jason bought me a box of the Candy Cane Oreo cookies. They are divine - I love chocolate and peppermint. Caitlin was a fan as well.

Every once in a while, I have time to watch cartoons with Cooper before school.

We have spent many nights working on Cooper's Lego Millennium Falcon. I may Kragle that thing together.

We took a trip to Delaware to visit friends. Our flight left really early - and we had two really tired kids on board.
Part of our trip included a day skiing. Cooper enjoyed his lesson and loved the fact that it actually snowed while he skied.

Two little divas.

As much as Cooper hates guacamole, Caitlin loves it.
Cooper decided one day to climb into Caitlin's car. She was thrilled & kept screaming at him to get "OUT."
Caitlin loves wearing this mask around the house.

December Phone Photos: Pt 2

Cooper's school Christmas party fell right before the holidays. I happened upon this Spider-Man shirt at Kohl's and Cooper loved it.

Caitlin sported an outfit handmade by Nana.
I supplied fruit for Cooper's party. He really wanted cookies or Christmas Tree sandwiches, but with his birthday party the next day, I needed to go simple. These Grinch Fruit-Kabobs were cute & easy.

Cooper was thrilled to see me stop by his party.

Waffles the Elf had a little fun with Cooper's Star Wars men.

Caitlin ended up at the pediatrician's office the morning of Cooper's birthday party. She was not sick enough for antibiotics, but sick enough to feel crappy.
Caitlin had many Christmas outfits and quite a few winter coats. She loved wearing this one with the hat.
This was probably my most favorite dress! I loved the trees.
Caitlin quickly pulled out her vacuum to clean the mess.

Polar Express Pajama Day at school!!

We put our visit to Santa off until the last minute. Thankfully, Cooper kept his promise to see him & take a photo, though Caitlin was not going anywhere near him. She kept her perch in the Bass Pro cart happily.
Christmas Eve turned out chilly. I love the cold during the holiday season.

Christmas Eve service is my favorite time in the church. She looked quite angelic here, but that did not last.
Santa came!!
Both kids had fun checking out their new toys.

Breakfast before hitting the road:
Lego time:

Playing together at Nana's house.
New books & slippers!

We had a great time playing Hungry, Hungry Hippos
Cooper claimed he was not tired on the way home from Nana's house, but I think this was proof he was wrong.
