May Phone Photos

May started off with a bang - we celebrated Caitlin's birthday and had a baseball game the same day. Talk about busy!

This girl loved the water slide at her party.

Caitlin finally started saying Evan's name - Eb-an.

We dressed for May the Fourth.
Caitlin has so many curls! I'm just a bit jealous.
Cooper was awarded the game ball for getting 2 hits during one game!

I requested Fajita Willie's for Mother's Day. I love that these two kids made me a mom!

I had a late night at work & Kelly kept Caitlin busy during baseball practice.

Jason was away for his annual fishing trip, so Cooper and I played Memory. He kicked my butt.
Due to so many rainouts during April, we had quite a few May games. Cooper played first base one weekend and I thought he did so well!
I know the kids love playing the actual games, but I think this might be their favorite part. They love running through the tunnel after the game.
Suddenly, I could braid Caitlin's hair!
We had a weeknight game & someone wanted to be party of the post-game huddle.

Aunt Sassy found matching shirts for her & Caitlin.
Cooper tried to dunk the baseball and ended up through the fence.
As a gift, we decided to book a photographer & take photos with Jason's parents. I loved having a few extra while we were dressed up.
All sass...
As a reward for participating, we headed to the park.

Cooper's last game of the season!
And if you can't tell by the photos, it was a hot one! These kids were troopers, but man were we all sweaty.

We hosted the party to celebrate our baseball team. Of course, it rained. Which meant that later, the kids needed a bath.

Thanks to Aunt Carla for our Buddies Club memberships, we were able to attend a game last month with some of our baseball friends.

Both kids were pretty excited to see Mickey Mouse!

Caitlin watched part of the game, but wasn't all too interested by the time we hit the 7th Inning Stretch. So, we went for a walk around the stadium.

April Phone Photos

April kept us busy with Easter, baseball and Caitlin's birthday.

I used to think smocked dresses just were not my thing. But really, this is too much.

The kids dyed eggs for Easter. Most of them ended up cracked.
Caitlin thought she needed to help cook.
The Easter Bunny came for a visit.
Most of our games ended up rained out in April, but we did manage to keep our schedule practice time and picture day! What a great team we had this year.

I ended up with a two doctors appointments in one day - Caitlin had her ENT follow up (she got the all clear) and Cooper had a dentist appointment. After a visit to the ENT, I had a lunch date with the big girl.

We spent many days at baseball practice. Caitlin thinks she's old enough to do everything the big kids can do.
We have had SO much rain. And so many storms. Which meant extra people in the bed.
Of course, rain around here means terrible traffic. We waited on dad for an extra hour one Friday.
Eileen shared an Anna costume with Caitlin that was too small for her. Suddenly, Anna is her favorite.
Jason's break meant he wouldn't be able to ride the MS-150. The excessive rain meant that nobody would be riding the first day. Instead, we had lunch at St. Arnold's. The burgers are awesome and the kids were pretty well behaved.

A friend competed in a kids triathlon & we wished her luck.
Caitlin's hair was finally long enough for a grown up pony tail.
This girl loves her boots. Rain boots, cowboy boots...doesn't matter.
Cooper was promoted to a new swim class! We've loved his teacher the past few months.
The temps finally climbed enough to bring out some sprinklers.
Aunt LaDonna & Aunt Carla met us one Saturday for lunch. They took the kids to Target while Jason and I did a little shopping. Caitlin insisted on bringing this home.
I tried a Pinterest trick - that worked! S'mores in the summer without a huge campfire!
Cooper decided to buy his sister a bed for her babies as a birthday gift. He even wrapped it himself!
Caitlin had her 2 year well-baby visit.
And we celebrated her birthday to round out the month of April.
